Meeting the Mayor at Sacred Heart School
On Tuesday, my ward colleague, Marilynn Ord, and I visited the open day at Sacred Heart Primary School in Byermoor village, on the edge of my ward. Gateshead Mayor John Eagle was there as well. Typically, I turned up with my camera and took some photos (which means I am in none of them!)
The weather was sunny so some classes took place outdoors.

He's not very good at colouring in though!
But hats off to John who also awarded my youngest daughter first prize (a £10 book voucher) at a recent competition in Saltwell Park!!
